Be Strong Now, Things Will Get Better

We All Have a Choice

Even though things might still be in chaos over the world with the pandemic, things will get better.

I am an optimist. But I am enough of a realist to know that it might not happen immediately. I do believe though that things will change and improve. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. We just need to believe and have faith for the future.

The covid19 virus has changed our lives in the blink of an eye. However, we don’t have to subscribe to the fact that it is all negative. There are some positives that are emerging from this pandemic.

Don’t focus on the bad, train your mid to see the good in every day.

We all have a choice. We can choose to face this adversity with negative responses, or we can rise to the challenge by remaining positive about our futures. We can use this time to complain or we can be resilient and motivated to make changes.

Life will always be tough. Everyone of us will face misfortune and calamitous events in our lives at one time or another.

We can choose to hide our heads in the sand. We can pretend that what is happening all around us will not happen to us personally or we can be proactive and do what is required to help prevent a worsening situation. We can choose to be negative or we can choose to be positive and ready to help in any way that we can.

Adversity is a part of life. However, each one of us has it in us to face adversity and uncertainty with being strong and with a fighting spirit. Remember we cannot control what is happening around us, but we can control our own thoughts and attitudes about whatever adversity we are faced with. We can stay down, or we can get up and be a force to be reckoned with.

Do not preoccupy your mind with how bad everything is. Occupy it with what you can do about it.

Have gratitude for the little things, for what you do have in your life right now.

Be extraordinary. Extraordinary people survive under the worst conditions. It is in your power to be extraordinary.

Its our reactions to the adversity, not the adversity itself that will break us. Challenge yourself to find the good in your situation and count your blessings. Take each day as it comes for each morning is another opportunity to change. You have the opportunity to change your attitude, your choices, and your responses. What defines each of us is our ability to take control of our own situations.

Each one of us is completely responsible for our own behaviour.

We can choose to be part of the problem or we can choose to be part of the solution. We can remember our core values. We can choose to be kind, caring and compassionate.

Embrace each day as it comes and find the strength to overcome your negative responses and your daily struggles. You will be much happier.

Do not give in and do not give up!

Remember what a special privilege it is to be alive.
